Dr.
Sudheer Phatak, our Director and the Managing Trustee of Pragatipath
Educational Foundation, is the main person behind this project.
He oversees the whole operation, and plans everything. Dr. Phatak
obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from New York, USA. He was a Professor
for Physics at University of Rochester, New York and University
of Mumbai. He is a leading educationist and is credited with new
systems of learning in schools through modern technology. He has
over 15 years of experience in setting up and running schools. He
is widely acknowledged all over India for his vision on using modern
technology in schools.

Vaidehi Phatak, is a co-ordinator in the school. She maintains the
quality in academics and food. She overlooks and plans activities
like the annual gathering. She is the Human Resources Manager and
manages all the teachers. She holds a B.Sc in Maths and a B.Lib
degree from the University of Mumbai.

Arpita Karkare, is a co-ordinator in the school. She generates content
for the worksheets, plans academics and activities, and looks after
the multimedia requirements of the school, such as printing, advertisements,
web-site design etc. Arpita holds a B.E in Computer Science and
a M.S in Multimedia Technology from USA. She was a Asst. Professor
of Multimedia at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, before
returning back to the school.

Nikhil Karkare, is also a co-ordinator in the school. He looks after
the technology section - maintaining the computers, writing new
educational software and enhancing the existing educational and
administrative software. Nikhil holds a B.E in Computer Engineering
and a M.S in Computer Science from UMass Lowell. Prior to returning
from USA, Nikhil was employed with EMC Corporation as a Software
Engineer.
