Team Millennium

At the head of the team is Dr. Sudheer Phatak - the main person behind this project. He oversees the whole operation, and plans everything. Dr. Phatak obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from New York, USA. He was a Professor of Physics at University of Rochester, New York and University of Mumbai. He is a leading educationist and is credited with new systems of learning in schools through modern technology. He has over 15 years of experience in setting up and running schools. He is widely acknowledged all over India for his vision on using modern technology in schools.


Vaidehi Phatak is a co-ordinator in the school. She maintains the quality in academics and food. She oversees and plans activities like the annual gathering. She is the Human Resources Manager and manages all the day to day activities of the school.


Arpita Karkare is a co-ordinator in the school. She generates content for the worksheets, plans academics and activities, and looks after the multimedia requirements of the school, such as printing, advertisements, web-site design etc. Arpita holds a B.E in Computer Science and a M.S in Multimedia Technology from USA. She was an Asst. Professor of Multimedia at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, before returning back to the school.


Nikhil Karkare is also a co-ordinator at the school. With over 10 years of experience, he looks after technology in the school. Nikhil is a major proponent of Open Source software, and actively uses it for everything in the school.
In his spare time, Nikhil is actively involved with the Computer Society of India, and organizes various conferences on computer science. He also guides various students for projects in Computer Science, and as part of CSI, wants to connect academia and the IT industry.
Nikhil holds a B.E in Computer Engineering and a M.S in Computer Science from UMass Lowell. Prior to joining the school, Nikhil was employed with EMC Corporation, USA and StorageTek in various capacities.


Anvit Phatak manages the software operations of the school. He develops new tools to enhance teaching and integrates it finely with the schooling system. He is developing the e-school idea and working on making it available to students at home. He holds a B.E in Computer Engineering and was employed with Texas Instruments, Bangalore before joining the school.

Neha Phatak looks after the day to day activities of the school. She manages the annual gathering. She also scripts and programs interactive education content for students. Neha holds a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering and was employed with Infosys, Pune before joining the school.
