RULES & REGULATIONS (Sports)

PRAGATIPATH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

UNDERTAKING FOR SPORT SELECTED AT MILLENNIUM NATIONAL SCHOOL
FOR THE YEAR 2026-27

All rights related to the sports activity selected are reserved with Pragatipath Educational Foundation, hereinafter referred to as the Institution.

By enrolling my child in the sports programme, I agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The sports activities are part of the services provided by the Institution and can be availed only if the child has opted for the sports programme as a package.
  2. I confirm that I have read and understood the annual charges structure for the selected sport and agree to avail the programme accordingly.
  3. Charges paid for the sports programme are non-transferable under any circumstances.
  4. The sport selected by my child will remain applicable for the entire academic year, and the selected sport cannot be changed during the academic year.
  5. Educational institutions are currently exempt from GST. However, if GST or any other applicable taxes become payable during the financial year, the same will be borne by the parents, including on any advance fees already paid.
  6. On certain days, students may be required to bring specific materials or equipment related to the activity from home. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that the child carries only the required items and does not bring any unwanted materials to school.
  7. In case any damage occurs to any person or property due to the material carried by the child and used outside the activity, the parent will be responsible for the resulting loss or damage.
  8. Sports activities involve certain inherent risks. While participating in sports, a child may sustain injuries due to accidents arising from participation. Since participation is voluntary, the school and the Institution will not be held responsible for any injury sustained during the activity.

Students have access to basic First Aid facilities on campus.

The school and amenity provider are responsible only for primary medical assistance. Any advanced medical care will require referral to an appropriate medical facility.

In case of emergency, the school may obtain parental consent telephonically for necessary medical procedures as advised by the attending doctor. All medical expenses must be borne by the parents.

9. I confirm that I have informed the school/Institution in writing about any known illnesses or medical conditions of my child, including:

  • Nature of the illness
  • Precautions to be taken
  • Steps to be followed during an emergency
  1. Selection of students for various competitions will be at the discretion of the coaches of the Institution.
  2. If my child is selected for any sponsored or invitational tournament, the child may be required to travel to the venue within or outside the city.
  3. If my child is selected for any tournament, the Institution will not be responsible for paying the participation or entry fees.
  4. Certain sports require on-field exposure and practical experience, and therefore the faculty may organize training sessions or visits outside the school premises.
  5. Photographs or recordings of students during sports activities may be taken for sharing on the Institution’s website, ID cards, printed materials or social media.
  6. Fees will be refunded in case of cancellation of admission or the sports facility for the academic year 2026–27 as per the refund policy below.

Refund Policy:

  • Till 31 May 2026 – Refund after deduction of processing fees only
  • Till 30 June 2026 – 25% deduction of the total fees
  • Till 31 August 2026 – 50% deduction of the total fees
  • Till 30 November 2026 – 75% deduction of the total fees
  • After 30 November 2026 – No refund (100% fees applicable)
  1. Refund requests must be claimed within one month from the date of cancellation.
  2. A new undertaking regarding continuation or discontinuation of admission must be submitted on or before 28 February 2027.
  3. A late fee of ₹70 per week will be charged for payments made after the due date.
  4. If any cheque or demand draft is dishonoured or returned by the bank, applicable bank bounce charges will be levied.
  5. The decision of the Institution shall be final in all matters related to the sports programme.
